I picked up Zach's and my passports this morning for the Consular Section of the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Fancy title for one room in the basement occupied mainly by an expceptionally long queue. It's opposite the V&A, but I didn't go in... I nabbed a few maps of Kazakhstan though :) There's a somewhat disturbing lack of roads marked on it however...
The next task is the Russian visas, which will require letters on invitation. This could be tricky (read: expensive).
