I'm talking to a student about Saturday night. He wants Anna and me to present The King's Speech to members of English Club. He asks me to give him a copy of the film (with subtitles), a photo of the two of us, and brief bio. English Club then does this with them: This is in the entrance to the School of International Studies at China's oldest private university. Opposite the double-doors - it's impossible to miss, least of all as it's three feet high.
Note that the strap-line wasn't in the bio we sent them. Note also that it's not satire either. It's China, "It's cute..."

OMG ... This is soooo romantic and lovey-dovey. I'm loving the photo of the two of you pasted in the centre of the heart ... and all accompanied by a very brief resumé of your backgrounds. This is surely something that doesn't happen to ordinary people ... you must be considered as being very special (no surprise there) and held in high regard. Cute, maybe ... wonderful, definitely. x
